Project Description
Citrus Avenue Elementary School is home of the "Bobcats" and has 400 children with 80% on breakfast/lunch assistance. They are a neighborhood school located at 4th Avenue and Citrus Avenues a few blocks behind Enloe Hospital. Parking is on the street and most of the Love Chico activities will be on the playground behind the school. Their Holistic Playground was painted in 2007 and with heavy use and falling leaves we repaint some portions each year. We also assist the teachers with their special classroom projects.
Project Leader Notes
Come join the fun as we gather on the playground and paint two new murals and sections of the playground. We will also freshen up the flower beds for those of you who enjoy digging in the dirt. For those that would enjoy copying, cutting, pasting, organizing we welcome you to sign up and assist one of the teachers!
