Project Leader Notes
IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ! The project lead will be out of town and unable to contact people the week prior to Love Chico. You will not receive a phone call prior to Love Chico. Please just meet as directed below: When/Where to meet: Let’s meet at 8:30 at the Great Harvest Bread Company located at 1141 Forest Avenue. We will caravan from there (and maybe carpool too). The preserve is 9 miles up HWY 32, and it’s difficult to know where to turn off. So, let’s meet and go together. I will buy you a cup of coffee and will bring water and snacks. What we’re doing: We will be building two picnic tables. The design is pretty straight-forward. See design here: http://members.shaw.ca/bomr/ptabl.htm What we have: We have the wood donated from Payless Lumber. I will be purchasing the hardware. I will also bring my chop saw. Jeff will be supplying the power. What we need: Drills. I have one, and will be bringing a chop saw. More power drill would be great! Tasks: Project overseer – the person who looks at the plans for the tables and makes sure we’re doing the right thing! Person to bring the materials – that’s me! People to measure boards and plan cuts One person to use the chop saw to cut the boards People to measure People to drill holes of the right size People to figure out which hardware goes where! People to assemble the tables People to sit at the tables and test them out!
