Project Description
Thank you for doing so much for our schools here in Chico. All your efforts are much appreciated! Below is the list of projects that I have discussed with Ray Peck regarding Chico High School. They are:
Repair/Replace basketball backboards and courts on blacktop behind gym
General campus clean up (Rack leaves and pine needles)
Re-painting "Panther" mural front of gymnasium
Touch up painting/repairs of benches/tables in quad area
Project Leader Notes
We Love Chico (High). Each year, approximately 125 volunteers (students, Alumni, Faculty/Staff, and friends) come back and give this campus a good cleaning. Last year, as I was waiting for a delivery of bark for the 2009 project, I noticed the Panther on the gym was very faded and dingy. This is a major focal point of our school - and I feel that this task would help with Panther Pride. Also, I noticed that the basketball courts behind the gym are in need of repair. Many students play during lunch and the gym classes use this area as well. Let's make this an area of activity and not the eye sore that it is currently.
