Project Description
Bidwell Park Invasive Vegetation Removal (3 groups of 10)
Meet at One Mile Recreation Area restrooms. (**This team will have to park on Woodland Drive and walk in through the fence to the restrooms since the entrance gate does not open until 10 am). Volunteers will remove invasive American Pokeweed, Himalayan Blackberries and other invasive plant that are not native to the Park. Tools provided by Park Division: gloves, loppers, pruning scissors, bags for disposing of the berries, shovels and tarps. Team Leader: Lise Smith-Peters
